Best Premiere Pro Tools to Speed Up your work

We made a list of great plugins for Adobe Premiere, both native and external. With these tools, you can quickly sync audio with video, auto reframe footage, detect beats in your music, get access to millions stock footage websites at once and much more!

So, what are the most convenient tools to use in Premiere Pro?

BeatEdit

BeatEdit detects the beats in your music and generates markers for them in your Premiere Pro timeline. With this tool, you can create automatic edits in sync with the music, or let BeatEdit assist your manual editing process.

What does this plugin do? BeatEdit detects the beats of your music and places them as markers in the Premiere Pro timeline.

Use the beat information to generate fully automatic edits in sync with the music. If you need more control, the beat markers can also be used as guides in your manual editing process. What's more, the automatic edits can be easily tweaked in the timeline.

You can fully control the beats, and subdivide them to create faster or slower patterns. To create more variation, BeatEdit can also choose rhythmically relevant peaks of the music to add extra markers.

Features:
- detect beats or rhythmically relevant peaks for variation
- sequence and clip markers
- compatible with the Automate to Sequence function in Premiere Pro
- batch manipulation of markers(create, move, delete)

Price: $99.99

Compatibility: Premiere Pro CC 2015.3 and above

Auto-Reframe (native)

Powered by Adobe Sensei AI, Autoreframe is a handy timesaver for editors. You’ll find this feature in the Media Browser if you right-click on a sequence and find the option: Autoreframe Sequence.

This tool will help you to automate your work, creating ratio variations.  The auto reframe function converts a sequence into a square(1:1), vertical(9:16 or 4:5), or a custom aspect ratio.

It’s a great way of quickly converting sequences to different formats for use on social media. If AI wasn’t accurate in its reframing, keyframes can be manually moved around and customized to add a more realistic cut.

Features:
- Autoreframe into square, vertical or custom aspect ratio
- Full keyframes customization
- Bin of sub clips from each detected cut point
- Clip marker at each detected cut point

Scene Edit Detection (native)

Adobe released a feature called Scene Edit Detection, which is another time saving tool. It definitely came from DaVinci Resolve, and still nice to have it in Premiere!Scene edit detection takes a final video file and analyzes it for cuts using AI. After analyzing the video, Premiere will add markers to allow you to re-edit specific pieces of the video.

Additionally, Premiere Pro will automatically add cuts to the audio part of the footage as well(you can separate audio from the video before analyzing). Finding the original edit points in a video is necessary before you start editing the video. Using scene detection helps you to automatically get the cut points without having to go through the footage manually.

Premiere Pro analyzes your footage, automatically detects changes in scenes, and adds cuts at the appropriate places.

Features:
- Video scene detection
- Audio scene detection
- Full keyframes customization
- Clip marker at each detected cut point
